	Horn Milton (1906-1995) Russian American sculptor. Born in the Russian Ukraine, he came to the United States at the age of seven. A versatile sculptor, Horn worked in metal and wood as well as stone, emphasizing the rhythmic form of his sculptures, as well as the passion of expression and the design of the decorative form. He was a founding member of the Sculptors Guild and his sculptures and drawing have been shown in museums throughout the country.

Holy Ark | Horn Milton

On the left, Moses kneels as he receives the Tablets of the Law from the hand of God. On the right, a ray of light descends from the hand of God onto the head of Bezalel, who holds the plans of the Tabernacle. Behind him is the Menorah and below him are the cherubim, holding each other on top of the Ark of the Covenant.
